This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of the town, helping to showcase everything that makes Aylsham special — from its independent shops, markets and events to the people, groups and businesses that make the community thrive.
The successful applicant will manage the Council’s social media, websites, newsletters and promotional campaigns, helping residents and visitors stay informed while promoting Aylsham as a welcoming destination town.
We are looking for someone who:
• Enjoys writing and communicating with people
• Has experience using social media and digital platforms
• Can create engaging and accurate content
• Is organised, proactive and full of ideas
• Wants to support and celebrate the local community
The role includes promoting local events, producing monthly “What’s on in Aylsham” updates, working with community groups and businesses, liaising with local media and helping ensure the Council communicates clearly and positively.
If you are passionate about community engagement and would enjoy helping shape how Aylsham is promoted and celebrated, we would love to hear from you.
